Residential chain link fence is available in several different qualities. Some of the factors that contribute to the quality of your fence are:
- Gauge of wire used in the chain link fabric – Taylor Fence uses a heavier product than local hardware stores and we install chain link that is recommended by the CLFMI ( Chain Link Fence Manufacturer's Institute)
- Diameter of the fence pipe used
- Wall thickness of the fence pipe used
Commercial – Protect and secure airports, work facilities, manufacturing plants, military installations, etc…
Available standard heights – 3', 42", 4', 5', 6', 7', 8', 10', 12' and higher upon request. Fabric 6'+ is available with an optional barb twist at the top for added security. Much more heavy-duty material is available for commercial construction.
Common Commercial Specifications:
- Fabric – 11, 9, or 6 gauge wire, 2" mesh size.
- Top rail – 1 5/8" O.D. diameter pipe
- Line posts – 1 7/8" O.D. diameter pipe, 2 3/8" O.D. diameter pipe,
- Terminal posts – 2 3/8" O.D. diameter pipe, 2 7/8" O.D. diameter pipe, 4" O.D. diameter pipe
- Heavy gate posts – 6 5/8" O.D. diameter pipe, 8 5/8" O.D. diameter pipe
- All hardware and fittings are hot dip galvanized or die cast aluminum.
- Extra security – 3 strand barbed wire, 6 strand barbed wire and razor ribbon
